Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) has become increasingly popular for analyzing data in management & social sciences. Applications of PLS-SEM have grown exponentially in the past few years. The purpose of this two day course is to mentor participants through the fundamentals of using SmartPLS for the typical data analysis process. This course is designed for non-experts and it will emphasis on getting hands-on experience on SEM using SmartPLS.

Who Should Attend?

-Graduate students and academic researchers involved in quantitative modeling and data analysis.

The workshop registration fee is Rs. 12,000 per participant. Moreover, ORIC-PD offers 50% discount for students.

Brief Description:

Shandong Provincial Government offers a full scholarship for international students. This scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate Masters, Doctoral and Language Programme at Qingdao University in China. Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students is set up by Shandong Provincial Government in order to encourage international students to come to Shandong for study and scientific research.

Qingdao University is a key provincial research university located in Qingdao, China. Qingdao University consists of 25 faculties and departments as well as a graduate school. Courses are offered in 11 main Academic disciplines: Philosophy, Economics, Law, Literature, History, Natural sciences, Engineering, Management, Medicine, Education and Military sciences. There are 104 Undergraduate degree programs, 209 master’s degree programs, 127 Doctoral degree programs, and 15 post-doctorate mobile stations. In addition, there are 7 professional master’s degree programs in Law, Business Management, Engineering, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Dentistry and Public Administration respectively.

Brief Description:

KU Leuven is inviting applications for Global Minds PhD Scholarship Program. These scholarships are available for developing countries students to obtain their PhD from the largest university of Belgium. The aim is to give students the opportunity to conduct PhD research in a ‘sandwich’ system, which means that 50% of the research takes place at KU Leuven and 50% at the home institution of the scholar, supported by a local co-promotor. The PhD-degree is awarded by KU Leuven. KU Leuven is situated at about twenty kilometres from Brussels, the capital of both Belgium and Europe. It is the oldest university of the Low Countries. As such, it has a long-standing tradition of hospitality towards students and scholars from abroad.

Brief Description:

The Association for the Promotion of Photography in Hanover organizes the LUMIX Festival in cooperation with the photojournalism and documentary photography study course at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover, Faculty III, Media, Information and Design and with the support of the German photojournalist association FREELENS for the 6th time.


All students and professional photojournalists under the age of 35 are welcome to submit their work for the 6th LUMIX Festival and based on those submissions 60 photojournalists will be invited to exhibit their work during the festival. The exhibitions accompany an attractive program which includes portfolio-reviews, lectures, panel-discussions, guided tours and a photo fair.

Opportunity: International Competition

Prizes: The prize money for FREELENS Award is € 10,000

There will be two honorable mentions awarded with € 1,000

Lois Lammerhuber will award the best story from everyday life with the Lammerhuber Photography Award in the amount of € 5,000

Panasonic will award the best multimedia story with the LUMIX Multimedia Award, which is also worth €5,000.

Eligibility and Important Rules:

Applicants must be younger than 35 at the time of application.

Submission Details: Applications must be completed within 5 days of registration.

Photographs with a resolution of 15 cm on the longer side at 200 dpi must be submitted along with suitable captions, the exhibition text and a personal biography with a portrait.

Applications will be considered only if they are complete.
