Upon special invitation, a two members delegation of INIT participated in the 4th Meeting of the Arab Technology Incubators and Techno Parks Network (ARTECNET) held on December 20-22, 2016 at Rabat, Kingdome of Morocco. The ARTECNET is a cooperative network of organizations established to provide an effective platform of communication, cooperation and knowledge sharing between business incubators and Techno Parks within the Arab region. It has successfully incorporated over twenty-two incubators across the Arab world during the last few years and is attracting further incubators and Technoparks.

Since information and communication technologies is a very important part of the projects being undertaken at Technoparks, the ARTECNET invited INIT to discuss and explore the avenues of future cooperation between the two entities. The INIT delegates discussed different options for future collaboration and convening joint activities enabling both the entities to achieve their objectives under different programs. The meeting was followed by a two-day training aimed at capacity building of incubator managers and other stakeholders in the Arab Region.
