International Office   Tuesday, January 7, 2020

USAID's Lab Center for Development Research (Lab/CDR) is excited to announce the launch of two new Addenda under the Science, Technology, Innovation, and Partnership (STIP) Annual Program Statement (APS), the BRIDGE-Train and BRIDGE-U Addenda.

Under the STIP APS umbrella, CDR’s two newest Addenda aim to promote and advance research, innovation, utilization and training with Higher Education Institutions. Though both Addenda are complementary, they each address a different point within the “research-to-action” spectrum.

The Building Research and Innovation for Development, Generating Evidence, and Training (BRIDGE-Train) Addendum to the STIP APS aims to support institutional partnerships between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in USAID Partner Countries and U.S.-based HEIs to develop research, innovation, and training centers for knowledge development aimed at addressing local and/or national development priorities.

The Bringing Research to Impact for Development, Global Engagement, and Utilization (BRIDGE-U Addendum) to the STIP APS seeks to establish or further develop a locally-led,HEI-based hub for research utilization in a USAID Partner Country to enhance capacity for translating development research and innovation to address national and/or regional development priorities.

The closing dates for both BRIDGE-Train and BRIDGE-U addendum is January 31, 2020.

Please share this email and to your networks, HEIs, and other partners.
