We are looking for a web analyst
who is able to combine thorough research and analysis with out of the
box thinking to help shape our future online & interactive
television portfolio of products & services.
You will be
responsible for delivering the online & interactive reporting
requirements for the online & interactive group, including
production of dashboards, managing benchmarking activity, and engaging
with business stakeholders on ad hoc reporting & analytics
requests. In addition, you will work with the other reporting teams,
(Marketing Strategy team, Online Business Unit, data warehouse etc)
within our company and help facilitate cross departmental knowledge, as
well as business stakeholders from these other teams.
You will
work cross functionally with a team of passionate editors and product
& proposition managers to help to bring expertise and insight into
these areas.
As such, you’ll be highly passionate, analytical,
finely tuned to the needs of the market, be comfortable working with 3rd
parties & cross functional teams. You will have performed in a
similar role , and have significant hands on experience using reporting
& analytic tools such as Omniture SiteCatalyst and HBX, Comscore,
Google Analytics.
We’re looking for experience gained in a
similar role, likely within an operational, marketing / product
management company within a consumer orientated environment and you
should be able to demonstrate a good mix of conceptual thinking coupled
with hands on delivery.
Primary responsibilities of the role:
- Work with stakeholders to build the reporting requirements for online & interactive
- Ongoing delivery of dashboards, benchmarking and 'live site’ usability studies
- Analysis of market trends, creating and establishing benchmarks
- Helping
to ensure that user metrics / predictions are realistic and being met
and ensuring we have measurement of performance of products and services
- Working closely with Editorial and Product Development teams to optimize reporting ability and data driven development.
Essential skills:
- 2+
years experience in a sophisticated marketing / product management /
proposition / concept development role within a consumer orientated
environment
- Hands on experience of reporting tools such as Hitbox, Omniture, Comscore, Google Analytics
- Your
likely background is to be in online consumer facing business or
interactive television, or within telecommunications / ISP, or a high
volume consumer technology
- Demonstrate a good mix of conceptual thinking coupled with hands on delivery
- Familiarity with the key issues in new multi-channel environments
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Experience of interpreting research and extracting valuable insights
