ORIC-Professional Development is organizing a 1-day Training Workshop on " Managing & Engaging Stakeholders in Construction & Civil Infrastructure Development Projects", on 7 September, 2017 at the CIIT, Islamabad Campus.

Stakeholders are central to all projects in all categories and levels of complexity. Pro-jects are conceived, initiated, planned, executed, controlled and evaluated by stake-holders for stakeholders. Numerous project performance surveys consistently attribute project success or project failure primarily to stakeholder influences. However, project management education has largely ignored the subject of stakeholder management and engagement, focusing instead on “hardcore technical” themes such as scheduling, cost, risk, scope and quality management and their processes, tools and techniques.

This innovative training, developed from years of cutting edge research, aims to spread awareness of the importance of stakeholders and provide participants with practical guidance on how companies can identify their stakeholders and develop a comprehensive and robust framework as the basis for managing and engaging them in a professional and ethical manner which helps achieve their project goals and objectives more effectively and efficiently. The training will be conducted by Dr. Aurangzeb Zulfiqar Khan, Principal Research Officer, Department of Management Science, CIIT.

The registration fee for the workshop is Rs. 9,500/-. However, an early bird discount of 20% is available for all participants registering up-to 11th August 2017 as well as a Group Discount of 25% is available (for every third person and onwards in a group). The Last Date to Register is 1st September 2017.
