Dr. Nasro-Min-Allah and Mr. Zeeshan Mehta are declared as winners of BMIP-2010 Award ($10,000). BMIP Award was launched in May 2010 from CIIT platform. The objective of BMIP Award is to promote new entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in Pakistan, encouraging young talented people in Pakistan to take their innovations further; to create new companies, delivering recognition for Pakistan based technology and innovations around the world; to show the world that Pakistan has plenty of talented young people who can deliver new innovations to the world.
More than seventy (70) innovative projects were submitted for this award. A Jury of 20 national and International renowned academicians and experts from Industry headed by Mr. Wille Eerola, Founder of BMIP and Chairman of the grand Jury assessed these projects. 10 Projects were short listed in Nov 2010.
Top three projects ranked by the grand jury are as follows:
1st Place: E-health Dedicated Server?, for Medical Practitioners and Emergency vehicles to improve quality of health in remote areas of Pakistan.
