Minimum Qualification Required:
A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is essential. The successful applicant should have 2-5 years of research experience after completing his/her PhD and should be able to demonstrate a good international research track record.
The role will encompass a range of activities related to communication technology security and privacy research in European research projects. The successful applicant will be dynamic, capable of working on own initiative as well as in a team environment. The role will include travel to European destinations. The successful applicant will join a team of professional researchers working on a range of projects in IT security and privacy research. The team spans basic research through applied research to product commercialisation. The applicant will contribute leadership in developing new security/privacy research directions and partnerships to both strengthen and complement existing activity at TSSG.
The areas of the applicant’s specialization include one of the following:
* Privacy for computer networks and communication services including social networks and cloud services
* Security in Cloud Computing including architectures, protocols, modeling and algorithms with applications to cloud services and cloud security policies
A good knowledge of security and/or privacy in communication technologies is essential.
