Dear All,

With the grace of Allah SWT we had a tremendous response to the orientation of the new intake today, with more than 90% attendance by the new students. I am grateful to all the faculty members and the students who made this a successful event, everything was quite well managed and to boot we had a tremendous and sunny day, though now it has started to drizzle, but all is well that ends well.

I hope the old students will welcome the new ones and make them feel at home and I hope there will be no ragging, that leaves a really bad lifetime impression. I can still remember when I was ragged as a first year student, which was not very nice at all. I hope you all will want your new friends to have positive memories about you all.
