Duration: July 10-28, 2017; 3 weeks
Timings: 9:00 am -1:00 pm (4 days a week: Mon-Thu 4 hours a day)

“Supply Chain Management”
on 27-28 February at
COMSATS Faculty Development Academy in Islamabad
CCED held its first two-day training course on the theme “Supply Chain Management” on 27-28 February at the COMSATS Faculty Development Academy in Islamabad. Approximately twenty participants from various organizations, including Shifa International Hospital, Pearl Gas Private Ltd., and the Higher Education Commission attended the training which was conducted by supply chain management expert and experienced trainer Dr. Aneel Salman.
Supply Chain Management is a subject which has attracted considerable interest across the globe in recent years with the advent of globalization and international trade and investments. Dr. Salman covered all important current topics relating to supply chain management over the course of his training which was very well received by all participants. An invited guest expert,Mian Mansoor Ahmad,also participated in the training and in his presentation shared his detailed personal experiences on revamping the supply chain management system at Pakistan Tobacco Company. On the first training day dinner was hosted in honour of the trainer and participants at the Islamabad Serena Hotel.
CCED Head Dr. Aurangzeb Khan, Dean of the CIIT Faculty of Business Administration Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas and CIIT Registrar Professor Israr Hussain addressed the participants in the closing ceremony at the end of the second day after which all participants, the trainer and the organizers were presented with certificates. A group photo was held after tea.
