Greetings from COMSATS Headquarters!
I hope that this email finds you well in these trying times.
We are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to join COMSATS’ webinar on 'South-South Cooperation: Creating headways for Post-Pandemic Inclusive Recovery', which will take place on 21st September 2021 (Tuesday) from 14:00 to 16:00 PST/ 09:00-11:00 GMT.
This webinar is being held to commemorate the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation (12th September 2021). The webinar aims to provide a forum for exchange of institutional experiences and lessons learnt in pursuing initiatives in countries of the South for S&T-led sustainable development, especially under the current COVID19 pandemic.
The event will have online participation of speakers from UN agencies, international development agencies, academia, and policy and diplomatic circles. The webinar will highlight the replicable measures, policies and strategic approaches that have been adopted in mitigating the COVID-19 crisis based on the experiences shared by the invited speakers. It will be very interesting to learn from each other and adopt new norms. In this regard, any recommendations for mainstreaming South-South Cooperation in S&T for achieving SDGs during post-pandemic era will be most welcome from all participants.
