A high profile delegation visited the CIIT/Library on 15/06/2012 from Lancaster University UK. The delegate includes the following four important persons:


1.   Professor Mark E. Smith, Vice Chancellor

2.   Professor Robert McKinlay, Deputy Vice Chancellor

3.   Professor Steve Bradley, Pro-Vice Chancellor (International)

4.   Dr. Hassan Ahmad, Director Relationships


Prof. Dr.Shahid A.Khan (Incharge Islamabad Campus) gave them a detailed presentation about CIIT, its achievements and future planning. The subject delegation visited various building/blocs/facilities.

They also visited the CIIT Hi-Tech and state-of-the-art library. The Senior Librarian (Raja Muhammad Ibrahim) briefed them thoroughly about the library collection, international standard contemporary services and usage of the innovative RFID technology for the library management.

They highly appreciated the library facilities, services and updated collection.
