COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) has attained the prestigious membership of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) which is indeed another feather in its cap.

          The Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World is a body working within the framework of Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), and specializing in promoting higher education and furthering cooperation, coordination and partnership among its institutions. FUIW is basically an independent legal entity made up of national universities in the Islamic World, whether public or private.

          The prime objectives of FUIW include: enhancing the level of scientific researches in all fields, exchanging their findings and furthering cooperation in such a way as to enhance the exchange of experiences, studies, programmes and visits in the fields of education, science, culture and technology

          CIIT’s membership will pave the way for opening up myriad of avenues and establishing collaboration with the Universities of the Islamic World.
