Mr. Riffat Abbas Rizvi is currently doing his Phd in Project management with Disaster Management. He holds Master in Sciences in Project Management, Masters in Business Administration in Human Resource Management and MSc in Computer Sciences along with this he holds professional certifications in project management, marketing management, cisco, basic life support, Training Teachers, SPSS, AMOS.
For the past nine years, Mr. Rizvi is working as a full time Faculty member (Assistant Professor) in Department of Management Sciences, CIIT, Islamabad and imparted quality education on various subjects : 1) Project Management, Project Constraint Management, Project Risk Management, Human Resource Management, Performance Management Systems, Crises and Conflict Management, Organization Development and Change Management. He is planning to continue his PhD in Disaster Project Management in order to serve the nation. With an experience of almost 15 years with various organizations SRMC, HEC, SC(UK), DELTA(NGO), 15 Police, Pearl Associates, World Vision, WFP, etc.

As a Finance Assistant for DELTA,
presented financial data and cash base system of the Project
to SC (UK) higher management in the
start of the project (Child health improvement in FATA).
As a Field Team Researcher /
Consultant for DELTA, conducted Research, for the Pakistan Earthquake Case
Study, component of The Humanitarian Agenda 2015 Research Project of the
Feinstein International Centre, Tufts University, Boston. (March – June 2007).
It included extensive field research in earthquake disaster regions of N.W.F.P.
and Azad Kashmir, followed by detailed report.
As a consultant for DELTA, conducted
a Livelihood Assessment in post-earthquake Mansehra District (Jan. – Feb.
2006), commissioned by World Vision for their recovery interventions in
Livelihood in the area/region.
With this Mr.
Rizvi is always an enigma in sports. He is a black belt taekwondo and a talented sports
player who represented not only at provisional and in national events on
several occasions. He is Department of Management Sciences Sports Coordinator
and won Interdepartmental Titles from 2008 five times and made department
runners up several times. He is the
member of Departmental Examination Monitoring Team and conducted various
examinations. Along with this he is also the Member of Departmental Career
Counseling and Career Development, aims to prepare students for interview /
test and find out jobs for them. Mr. Rizvi is also
working as Proctorial Board Member for the Department of Management Sciences, CIIT,
Islamabad aims to mentor youth. He is
Multilingual with full command in Punjabi, English, Pushtoo, Urdu and basic
level knowledge of French.
