Biography:

Dr. Mohammad kaleem completed Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from London South Bank University, UK, in 1997. He also got his MSEng in Telecommunication and Computer Networks Engineering from London South Bank University UK, in 1999. He has served at the British Ministry of Defense for two years. He has also worked as an IT consultant in British Telecommunications (BT) (Adastral park- Research Labs) on different projects, Voice /Multimedia over IP, DCU (Data collection unit), Colossus and DLE (digital local Exchange) Grooming. He completed his PhD in Integrated-photonic Engineering, Hangzhou, China, in 2013. He has extensive industrial and academic experience. He served at National University of Sciences and Technology (College of E&ME), Rawalpindi, as an Assistant Professor (2002-14). Since 2014, he has been affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering, CIIT (Islamabad), where he is serving as an Asstt. Professor. His research interests are in Optoelectronics, Optical communications, Integrated photonics, Bio-sensors, Solar cells, Nano-photonics, Nonlinear optics, Biomedical sensing and environmental monitoring, wireless communication systems, DWDM Systems, cellular networks-2.5/3G/4G, LTE, SDH, SONET, WiMax, MANETs, WSN, simulation and performance analysis, network protocols and architecture.
