currently he is serving as Head of department and Assistant Professor (Marketing) in the department of Management Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, Vehari campus and having more than 17 years of teaching, research and administrative experience at university level. He has completed his PhD in Marketing, from Qurtuba University Peshawar, Pakistan in March, 2012. He is also National Business Education Accreditation Council (HEC) certified evaluator. He is also HEC Approved PhD Supervisor. His areas of interest are Marketing, e-Marketing, advertising, Marketing research, Research Methodology, Consumer Behavior, and e-commerce.
He has been awarded IRSIP (HEC) scholarship for getting research assistance from Dr. Khaliq Ahmed as a co-supervisor, who was the dean faculty of economics and management sciences in International Islamic University Malaysia (2009). Dr. M Imran khan has published and presented more than 19 research papers in national and international HEC approved, ISI, Impact factor research journals and conferences. He has successfully completed four research projects and now working on NRPU, HEC funded of PRs: 1.58 million as a principal investigator. He has successfully supervised 24M.Phil scholars and three scholars are in pipeline. He has also successfully organized an International Conference in Nov., 2018 in the field of Management sciences.
Recently got acceptance letter from the University of Science and Technology China Ranked 98th in QS ranking for Post Doc, and now case is submitted for HEC funding from Govt. of Pakistan.
