Biography:

Dr. Shabieh Farwa joined CUI, Wah Campus on Feb. 08, 2002. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor/Head (Department of Mathematics). She completed her PhD degree in Mathematics (Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry) from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2012 and won T.M. Flett Prize . She completed MSc. and MPhil (Mathematics) with distinction from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islambad, Paksitan. The President of Pakistan conferred upon her Izaz-i-Sabqat, for extraordinary academic achievements.  Dr. Shabieh has vast teaching and research experience at both national and international levels. She has  supervised 12 graduate research students. Her research interests mainly include Algebraic Geometry, Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Coding and Cryptography and Fuzzy Logic, however she is always interested to explore diverse areas of Mathematics and applications.
