Engr. Irfan Ullah has been working as a Lecturer at Department of Electrical Engineering COMSATS Institute of Information (CIIT) Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan since Sep 2010. He is also PhD scholar at department of Electrical Engineering, CIIT, Islamabad, Pakistan since 2013.
He received his BS in Computer Engineering from CIIT, Islamabad, Pakistan and MS (Technology) degree from Tampere University of Technology(TUT), Tampere, Finland. He was working as a Research Associate (February 2009 – August 2010) in Electrical Engineering Department at TUT. Before that (August 2007 – August 2008) he was working as a Research Assistant in Electrical Engineering Department at CIIT. He is member of ISMRM, ESMRMB and IEEE.
His main research interests includes image reconstruction algorithm in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF). Currently, He is working on Parallel computation to exploit parallelism in MR reconstruction algorithm and reducing scan time of MRI. Other interests includes Embedded Systems, Multi-Processor Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
