Dr. Toqeer Ahmed is currently working as Assistant Professor, Centre for Climate Research and Development (CCRD), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT). Since his education, he has worked at responsible positions in several different Government departments and R & D organizations. He has completed several national as well as international projects in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh, UK and International NGOs. He has 34 research publications (32.153 IF) in peer reviewed research journals and 2 book chapters in the field of food and water quality assessment, wastewater treatment, climate impacts on health and Nano-biotechnology. Dr. Ahmed has lectured and presented Research Papers in both national and international conferences.
He is currently working in the field of Environmental Microbiology, Climate Change, Water Management and Environmental Nanotechnology. He is on the Editorial Boards of few International impact factor Journals and active member of scientific societies.
Different MS and Ph.D. positions are available in my research group to work on sustainable water management, water quality assessment and climate change impacts on human health, MNPs impacts on waterborne and vector borne diseases. The HEC indigenous scholars and summer and winter interns are highly encouraged to apply for their R&D work.
