Scholarships at CEU for MSc in Finance Jan 2017 and Sep 2017
I am Hari Subedi, recruitment coordinator at Central European University (CEU) Business School, Budapest. I am also an alumnus of CEU.
I am writing to you to introduce our scholarship opportunities that may be of interest to the students from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. Please find herein and below my signature the announcement on the MSc in Finance scholarships available for January 2017 and September 2017. Could you please share the announcement through to your students? NASDAQ has put no restrictions on the recipients? prior studies whatsoever.
The other donors are London and Hong Kong hedge funds that want a prior degree or experience in a quantitative field such as science, computer science, mathematics, engineering or economics ? they are looking to hire the recipients if they do well in the program. The NASDAQ- CEU scholarship is in fact targeted at students from the developing region and Pakistan is a prime target market for it. In fact two of the scholarship recipients for
this fall cohort were from Pakistan.
Further, it is also possible to translate their MSc degrees into successful career here in Budapest as there are a lot of jobs at present especially in the Technology and Finance sectors. Budapest is among Europe?s fastest rising financial services hubs, awash with jobs and internships for international finance talent with the likes of Citi, GE, Morgan Stanley,
MSCI etc. ? it is probably easier to get a good position in Budapest than anywhere else in the world right now. They also work closely with our Career Services, and actively guide our MSc programs in particular, advising on the curricula, organizing talks, case studies and simulations, and assisting with internships and careers.
