A two-member delegation from Coventry University, UK visited COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) on September 19, 2018. The purpose of the visit was to explore possibilities of cooperation and collaboration between the two universities. The delegation comprised of following:

The delegation was received by Senior Manager (IO). The delegation was first shown different facilities and infrastructure of CUI. Upon completion of the campus visit, the delegation proceeded to the Committee Room, 4th Floor, Faculty Block 1. All participants from both organizations introduced themselves. Both sides gave detailed presentations about their respective organizations and their activities & programs.
During the meeting, different options of collaboration and cooperation were discussed. The officials from Coventry University informed about their deliberations with the officials of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) regarding offering transnational education (TNE) in collaboration with the with interested universities in Pakistan. They further informed that HEC is now finalizing the framework for the TNE education in Pakistan in collaboration with overseas universities. It was resolved that discussions on different options of collaboration for offering degree programs may be continued on both sides.
Toward the end, Head International Office presented souvenirs to the delegation members and after a group photograph the delegation departed from the University.
