Delegates of different International Universities Visits CIIT and Library

Delegations and VC's from several universities of Islamic countries, who were in Islamabad to participate in the International VC?s Forum, visited CIIT (Islamabad Campus) and its Library on June 13, 2012.

International VC's Forum was organized by COMSATS Institute of Information Technology in collaboration with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan. Over 300 Vice Chancellors / Rectors / Presidents of universities are participating in the Forum.

Among the delegates who visited CIIT (Islamabad Campus) and its Library includes Professor Ahmed Yousaf Al-Driweeh (Vice President of IIU, Saudia Arabia), Mr. Abdulmalik Essadi and Ibne Tufail (representative of two different universities of Morroco).

The honourable guests not only visited the different blocks, sections and library of CIIT (Islamabad Campus) where they saw Labs and other facilities, but, they were also briefed about the status, progress, programs and future plans of CIIT by senior officials of Islamabad Campus.

Special presentations were arranged for each visiting delegations in the Video Conferencing Room of the Library where Dr. Shahid A. Khan (Incharge, Islamabad Campus) and other senior officials of CIIT (Islamabad Campus) briefed the guests and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Raja Muhammad Ibrahim (Head Library Information Services) facilitated the delegations during their visit to the library and briefed them about different facilities and services.
